BARBIE® PROMOTIONAL PIECE

A personal promotional piece used to obtain a summer internship at Mattel Inc. Abby the Graphic Designer is a new friend of Barbie as well as a miniature model of myself through her style, skills and career. Within the case contains designer's supplies and a portfolio of my work.

BARBIE® PACKAGING INTERNSHIP

At Mattel Inc. I assisted in photoshoots and then helped edit the package images and piece count on the back. Worked mainly on designing blister shapes and trade dresses for the fashion and beauty Barbie® brand. I also had the opportunity to create my own toy and package with a team of interns for the Polly Pocket® brand.

"Some symbols are understood worldwide, and hands creating a heart are one of them. Share a universal symbol of friendship and love with a Barbie® doll -- her hands form a heart shape and her heart lights up!" The Heart Hands Barbie® package was created to capture the memories with friends utilizing polaroid images. The dynamic blister package has unique jagged edges formed by the polaroids. A die-cut is added for the "try me" feature.
